Troubleshoot Recap connection to Teams

The Recap bot cannot join your Microsoft Teams meetings? Follow these diagnostic steps.

Preliminary checks

Bot invitation (the Recap bot must be explicitly invited to the meeting via the Delos interface or by adding the bot address in Teams)

Teams policy (your Teams administrator must authorize third-party applications to join meetings)

Meeting type (Teams channel meetings have different restrictions than private meetings)

Solutions

• Verify the Microsoft Teams integration is enabled in Settings > Integrations > Microsoft 365
• Revoke then re-grant Microsoft OAuth permissions
• Manually invite the Recap bot as a participant in Teams
• For channel meetings, create a private meeting and test the connection
