File formats and limits for Slides

The Delos Slides application allows you to create and export presentations. Here are the supported formats and their constraints.

Supported formats

• Import (.pptx, .pdf conversion to slides, .md automatic generation)
• Export (.pptx, .pdf, .png per slide)
• Embeddable media (.jpg, .png, .gif, .svg, .mp4)

Limits to know

• Maximum size 30 MB per presentation
• Slide count 100 slides maximum per presentation
• Images max 4K resolution per embedded image
• Videos 100 MB maximum per embedded video, .mp4 format only
• Fonts (custom fonts are converted to standard fonts on PPT export)

Best practices

• Compress images before embedding (use Compress media)
• Limit embedded videos to 2 per presentation
• Use standard fonts Arial Calibri to avoid export surprises
• Export to PDF for faithful review before final PPT export
