Two-factor authentication (2FA)

Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security to your Delos account. Even if someone obtains your password, they won't be able to access your account without the second factor.

Enable 2FA

  1. Go to Account settings > Security
  2. In the Two-factor authentication section, click Enable
  3. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, etc.)
  4. Enter the 6-digit code generated by the app
  5. Click Confirm
  6. Save your recovery codes in a safe place

Recovery Codes

Important: save your recovery codes as soon as you enable 2FA. They are your only way to access your account if you lose your device.

  • After activation, backup codes are provided
  • Keep them in a safe place
  • Each code can only be used once
  • You receive 10 codes upon activation

Logging in with 2FA

  1. Enter your email and password as usual
  2. Open your authenticator app
  3. Enter the displayed 6-digit code

Disable 2FA

  1. Go to Settings > Security
  2. Click Disable 2FA
  3. Enter your password to confirm

I lost my device

If you've lost your phone or authenticator app:

  1. On the login page, click Use a recovery code
  2. Enter one of your saved recovery codes
  3. Once logged in, immediately set up a new 2FA device

If you no longer have your recovery codes, contact support at support@delos.so with an ID document.
