First steps with AI Workers
Delos Workers are specialized autonomous AI agents that integrate directly into your enterprise workflows (Slack, Microsoft Teams, internal Ping messaging, email). Unlike a simple chatbot, a Worker has its own identity, persistent missions, domain skills, and connected tools.
1. What is a Worker?
Each Worker in your Delos organization comes with:
- An identity & profile: a name, photo, specialized role (dev, marketing, HR, finance, operations), and an assigned manager.
- Missions & directives: scheduled, recurring, or event-driven tasks (e.g. daily monitoring, code review, onboarding).
- Persistent memory: retains team preferences, company context, and past decisions.
- Integrations: secure access to your business tools (Slack, Google Workspace, GitHub, HubSpot, CRM).
- Rules & safeguards: clear boundaries on autonomous actions versus tasks requiring human validation.
2. Getting started in 4 steps
- Hire & initialize: Select a profile from the catalog or create a custom Worker.
- Configure skills: Define key capabilities in Behavior Studio and autonomy rules.
- Connect channels: Integrate into Slack or Microsoft Teams for team collaboration.
- Assign initial missions: Start with a concrete deliverable by mentioning your Worker in chat.
